Treasure Coast Chapter ‘s Highway Clean-Up & Pot Luck BBQ
Place: North Bridge Boat Ramp Park (look for the Surfrider flags)
Date: November 7th, 2009
Time: 9:00 AM to noon

Surfrider Foundation’s Treasure Coast Chapter has adopted a two-mile stretch of State Road A1A from the East side of North Bridge, on Shorewinds Drive in Ft. Pierce, to north A1A. Adoption of this highway requires that the roadway be cleared four times a year.

Volunteers will meet at North Bridge Boat Ramp immediately after the east side of the North Bridge.

Once the highway is clean, volunteers will come together at Ft. Pierce Inlet State Park for a pot luck BBQ. The park will kindly open its gates to a reserved pavilion right next to the water where volunteers can relax, enjoy lunch and take a cool dip in the inlet waters. Volunteers will receive a ticket for entry to the Fort Pierce Inlet State Park.

Volunteers are asked to bring a dish or snack to the after clean-up party. Food will be collected and stored for the luncheon at the park for the enjoyment of volunteers.
